Dorcas Annual Summer Picnic July 7th

July means it is picnic time! Dorcas Society annual summer picnic will be Wednesday, July 7th. We take no chances with the weather, so we will gather at 6pm in the Fellowship Hall.

It will be a pot luck (a dish to pass) meal which means plenty of good food to eat. Please bring a white elephant gift in a sack to use for Bingo prizes. Everyone is welcome to join us for a fun evening!

Dorcas Meeting April 7th

Lois Losby will be sharing examples and giving a demonstration on how to assemble felted mittens at the April Dorcas meeting. We will be meeting on April 7th at 7:00 pm. Everyone is welcome – join us for the evening and bring a friend!

Dorcas Potluck February 3rd

Dorcas Society will meet on Wednesday, February 3rd at 6:30pm (note time) for a potluck!

Besides a dish to share, we hope you bring ideas for the new year to discuss at our meeting. We look forward to seeing everyone. Come join us!

Dorcas Bazaar is Saturday, November 14th

This year’s Dorcas Bazaar is Saturday, November 14, 2009 from 10:00am to 2:00pm! Our luncheon is served 11:00am – 1:00pm.

We are in need of baked goods, craft items, jewelry and books to sell to help make this bazaar a success! If anyone is willing to donate Norwegian baked goods, we would appreciate receiving them. We will be selling tickets for the bazaar luncheon on November 1st and November 8th. Look for our table.

Learn to Knit or Crochet with Dorcas Members

The Dorcas Society’s next meeting is May 6th. The program that evening will be “Learn to Knit or Crochet”. If you would like to learn or brush up on your needlework skills come join us. Yarn will be available, however bringing your own knitting needles or crochet hooks. All are welcome!
